We want you to enjoy yourself in our studio and enjoy the area attractions that Santa Cruz has to offer: a 4" white binder has numerous ideas of things to do including maps of the area. Please feel free to add your ideas and comments for the next guests.

Our home is furnished and ready for your visit except for your food stuffs, personal items, toiletries and any related supplies. You must bring your own.

Please treat our home with respect and consideration.

House keys will be left for you on the kitchen counter. When leaving please return them to the same counter. There will be a $20 charge for any lost items.

The caretaker will turn on the heat when needed.

A security fee of $175.00 is required for our home, with an additional $50.00 for pets (see Pets); both of these fees are refundable provided there is no additional cleaning required or any damages to Studio property (see Housekeeping/cleaning).

Full payment for reservations, fees and security deposit is required thirty (30) days in advance of your scheduled dates.

Full payment for all long term rental fees is required a minimum of sixty (60) days or more before your arrival date.

If you cancel thirty (30) days or more before your arrival date 100% will be refunded.

If you cancel eight to twenty-nine (8-29) days, 50% will be refunded.

If you cancel within seven (7) days of your arrival date, you will forfeit the full security fee.

When we have received your security fee, we will send you a confirmation letter specifying your arrival dates, departure dates and the full rental due.

Full payment of all fees is required thirty (30) days or more before your arrival date.

We do not allow any subletting of any scheduled vacation time.

If you leave your reservation earlier than expected, there is no refund, except the refundable security deposit if the unit is left clean and neat.

Check in time is after 3:00 P.M.

Check out time is by 11:00 A.M. Any unapproved or late check outs, your signature on the registration form authorizes Santa Cruz Vacation Studio to charge a $25 per hour late fee.

Please inform us if you are bringing any of your animal(s).

There is an additional refundable security fee of $50.00 which needs to be included with your reservation.

Animals are an additional $10 per day for the first animal and $5 per day for each additional animal thereafter..

Animals ARE NOT to be left alone, even inside the studio, if they are going to miss you so much that there is any noise that will disturb the neighbors.

Poop, scoop and leash laws are in effect at all times.

If your animal is shedding, we expect you to do the vacuuming and cleaning of the animal hair.

**NOTE: This is a strange home and we have raccoons, possums and skunks roaming the yard at night, therefore animals CANNOT run loose and they should never be left out at night!

There are to be no more than four (4) registered guests staying overnight. Parties, pets (unless authorized), smoking, loud noise, fireworks or loud music is strictly prohibited.

Guests assume all risks and liabilities for accidents or injury to their persons, property or to their guests, except in the case of specific negligence by Santa Cruz Vacation Studio or the owner.

This agreement imposes an obligation of good faith in its performance and enforcement on all parties.

If a guest defaults in the performance of any of the obligations contained herein, Santa Cruz Vacation Studio or the owner, will be entitled to recover all costs and expenses including court costs and reasonable attorney fees.

This rental home is privately owned and is strictly limited to the guests listed on the registration form.

Unauthorized persons who are not properly identified will be required to vacate the home immediately.

Upon departure, the home should be clean and ready for the next guests (see Housekeeping/cleaning).

You may bring your own sheets, linens, towels or linens and towels will be provided to you.

Please replenish the emergency supplies if you use them.

Blankets and pillows are provided on each bed. There are additional blankets, pillows and comforters in the closets.

The kitchen has utensils for cooking.

The pots and pans are Pyrex. These range in size from frying pans, 1 pint to 6 quarts. They may be used on the stove, microwave, in the refrigerator, in the freezer or on the table with a hot pad or metal server underneath.

Dish towels and hot pads are in the kitchen sink drainer.

Please use hot pads whenever placing hot items on the counters or table.

You are responsible for providing your own food and supplies.

We do understand accidents, however if there are any damages, or the housekeeping service is required to do ANY extra cleaning or repairs, there will be an additional hourly charge of $25 per hour to fix or clean up the problem. These charges will be removed from the security fee, as necessary.

Each guest is required to leave the house as it was found, in good condition, and all items returned to their original locations.

Any linens and towels supplied by Santa Cruz Studio should be removed and placed in the kitchen upon check out.

**NOTE Santa Cruz vacation studio is not responsible for lost items such as money, jewelry, or other personal property of any kind. **

The house keys must be returned to the kitchen counter so they can be picked up by the caretaker upon departure.

If you move the furniture for any reason, please remember to move it back.

If a problem arises during your stay please tell the caretakers at 1-831-426-0874. We will make every effort to correct a problem as quickly as possible but we cannot guarantee that it will be finished within the time of your stay.

Anything scratched; dented, broken, damaged or needing replacement will be the responsibility of the registered guest.

Be certain that ALL garbage and trash is removed and placed inside the brown garbage can in the garbage area at the end of the driveway. Make sure the lids and the gate are secured.

All recycling items should be placed in the blue lidded garbage can.

All green waste, such as plants or flowers, should be placed in the green lidded can.

Excessive trash should be left inside the studio kitchen sink, in a plastic bag.

Cell phones may or may not work.

There is wireless internet and the password and user name is written on the hot pink desk container.

Please drive safely.

We have no control over too much fog, not enough fog, too much sun, not enough sun, too much rain, low temperatures, high temperatures, or any other Acts of God or the Universe.

We also have no control over power outages, cell phone reception, telephone outages, or the cancellation of local events.
